Marino Legovič has been writing music all his life. From the age of eight, when he first sat down at the piano until the present day, music has been his first love, school commitment, profession, hobby and his success (roughly in that order). Marino argues that he is a musical "addict." In fact he is so dependent on music that he simply must create.
Composer, arranger and producer of many memorable songs and music festival winners, Marino Legovič was born on 4th November 1958. He was taught music at music school, studying piano and theory and continuing on through high school he majored in teaching and composition at the Music Academy. Thus, the educated professional, believe it or not, still remains a graduate. He says he has too little time to prepare a thesis.
Domiciled in Ankaran, Slovenia, the born Istrian is stubborn but almost always in a good mood, now with a powerful 25 years of success behind him with the most-known Slovenian composers and artists. He has a real nose for talent (or they do for him), which as a rule, become constants in the Slovenian music scene.
